Brendan's Birthday

Brendan turned 27 yesterday. We had a little birthday party at our house with about 10 friends. I made Brendan's favorite treat- funfetti cupcakes. My sweet friend Betsy had to help me light all the candles and then Brendan needed some help blowing them all out!

New Wheels

Kelly's been looking for an easier way to explore the city, so we went out and got her a new bike today. Aside from being terrified of passing cars, she already looks like a pro.

We're Back on Capitol Hill

snow, snow, I hate you snow

I guess starting a blog is like starting a journal... you just pick up the story somewhere and go with it. Brendan and I moved into a new place this weekend. Thankfully we moved Saturday because between Sunday and Monday we got 8 inches of snow. If we were on vacay in Colorado it would have been completely acceptable to be in a blizzard. But just for everyday life, especially for two people who walk to and from work, a blizzard really sucks.
But our new place is fabulous. We live in the heart of Capitol Hill on Constitution Ave. (instert snickers here). We live across the street from the Supreme Court and we can see the Capitol from our front door. We have a lot more space for all of our crap (for the record Brendan has more shoes than I do) and we are in the same neighborhood as all of our friends! I will post pics or a video of the new abode sometime this week.
